The featured work on this week’s program of music from Renaissance and Baroque Spain is Missa pro defunctis, a requiem written during the great Barcelona plague, by Catalan composer Joan Cererols. Works for viola da gamba by Diego Ortiz from Castilla-La Mancha round out the program.
