
Joshua Fugate started music lessons at Hochstein when he was two years old. He would later take piano lessons from Dr. Gary Palmer and composition lessons from Matt Osika, Dr. Stephen Shewan, and Dr. Dan Barta. He is now a senior violin performance major at Roberts Wesleyan University, and he performed his senior recital yesterday, where he premiered his composition Remember, My Soul with his friends Cecilia Guerra and Kara Brewer. After graduation, Joshua plans to take a gap year where he will teach lessons, practice for grad school, and continue composition.

Live from Hochstein with host Mona Seghatoleslami is a series of midday concerts by some of the finest artists in our area broadcast live from The Hochstein Performance Hall. Each of these free concerts runs from 12:10-12:50 p.m., giving downtown business people, teachers, families, students, and friends an opportunity to enjoy classical music by outstanding musicians, including soloists, duos, and vocal and chamber ensembles.
