It seems so simple: One Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra concert with two Beethoven symphonies: the 1st and 7th. But RPO Music Director Andreas Delfs had so much to say to Julia Figueras about them, from the first notes of the first symphony to the last notes of the shamelessly exuberant seventh. It's a great ride.

A Strong Memorial baby and Greece Arcadia grad, Julia Figueras was the Music Director and mid-day host for WXXI Classical until June 30, 2023 when she retired after more than 26 years of service. She also hosted the award-winning monthly interview/performance show, Backstage Pass.
