It's a whole month of music from films about death, mediums, witches and other Halloween icons. Saturdays at 10am and 6pm.

10/2 Indigenous People's Day Host Edmund Stone has gathered some of the most remarkable movies featuring the cultures, historic and present day, of the people who first called this place their home. It’s a fascinating look at films as diverse as Dances With Wolves and Windwalker, to the ground-breaking film Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner, written, directed and acted entirely in the Inuktit language of Canada.

10/9 Die Laughing A splash of suspicion, morsel of menace and a soupçon of suspense - Edmund Stone has a delicious dark recipe for mirth and mystery with some of the most frightfully funny murder mystery movies. There are harrowing who-dunn-its with Knives Out and Arsenic and Old Lace, and laugh in the face of death with Ready Or Not and Corpse Bride. It’s to die for.

10/16 Mediums, Well Done  This week Edmund features the tantalizing topic of communicating with the Great Beyond including spine tingling favorites Sixth Sense and The Awakening, or find a “Happy Medium” with Oda Mae in Ghost and Sybil Trelawney in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

10/23 Witch Way?  Edmund is ready to cast a musical spell this week, all about witches. Dust off your broom and take a ride with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the three witches of Endor from Macbeth and join the danse macabre with Suspiria.

10/30 Halloween Icons/Halloween’s Greatest Hits  It’s music to carve your pumpkin by. This week you’ll be scared silly with Ghostbusters, shiver with Brahm Stoker’s Dracula, Steven King’s It and vintage Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. It’s a treat bag of Halloween’s greatest hits.
