Indigo and the Forty Thieves an operetta composed by Johann Strauss II

Premiered in 1871 in Vienna, the operetta Indigo and the Forty Thieves was composed by Johann Strauss II to a German libreto by Maximilian Steiner with text based on "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves." We hear the Overture on Jan 13th at 8pm.
