3/7        Plot Twists  Hollywood loves to lead us in one direction and then pull the rug out from beneath us.  We’ll enjoy music and moments from films with plot twists, including Shutter Island, The Village, The Sixth Sense, Psycho, Planet of the Apes, The Empire Strikes Back, Arrival. A Beautiful Mind, Get Out, The Others, and a few more.

3/14      From the Emerald Isle  We honor St, Patrick’s Day with film music and moments set in Ireland or based on Irish culture, including The Quiet Man, The Secret of Roan Inish, Ryan’s Daughter, Waking Ned Devine, Dancing at Lughnasa, Angela’s Ashes, Far and Away, In America, and a few more.

3/21      Lupita Nyong’o  Our popular series of music to the movies of Hollywood ‘A’ List actors continues with Lupita Nyong’o, an emerging Kenyan-Mexican actress, whose performances in Black Panther, 12 Years a Slave, Us, Non-Stop, The Jungle Book, and the last three Star Wars movies, have garnered well-earned praise.

3/28      Cinematic Synergy, Part 1  Memorable examples of director-composer collaborations, including Steven Spielberg and John Williams,  Federico Fellini and Nino Rota, Alfred Hitchcock and Bernard Herrmann, and David Lean and Maurice Jarre.
