Continuing with archival concerts, in April we'll hear John Corigliano's four-movement song cycle for mezzo soprano and orchestra, One Sweet Morning, which was jointly commissioned by the NY Philharmonic and the Shanghai Symphony to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. We'll hear the premiere of this work with mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe performed on September 30, 2011. April 11th at 3pm.
