4/13 This week we hear from violinist Joshua Song who explores the connection between powerlifting and music; bassoonist Eleanor Ha who plays a stirring piece by Luboš Sluka; trombonist Edwin Osorio shows off the range of his instrument in music by Jean-Michel Defaye; flutist Madelyn Zoller performs a Scherzo by Henri Büsser on the new instrument purchased through her Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award and composer Lili Masoudi presents their exciting work for an eclectic grouping of instruments!

4/20 In celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd, we’ll hear music that explores the intersection of music and nature with oboist Minoo Jang, pianist Julia Zhou, harpist Viviana Alfaro, cellist Jiin Yun and we’ll meet composer Winston Schneider whose passion for insects is reflected in his work. We’ll hear pieces about trees, weeds, clouds, and swans!
