6/12 19th Century Orchestral Music from Brazil The jewels of Brazilian music include several brilliant 19th century composers. On this Fiesta we will showcase some very charming compositions by Leopoldo Miguez, Carlos Gomez and Alberto Nepomuceno.

6/19 Ricardo Castro Mexican Composer and Pioneer Ricardo Castro was a late nineteenth-century romantic composer and pianist. Throughout the course of his life, Castro toured and taught everywhere from New York to Leipzig. He also studied under another famed Latin American pianist and composer, Teresa Carreño, while in Europe. We will highlight his piano concerto and cello concerto, the first ever written in Latin America.
6/26 18th Century Latino Jewels Colonial Latin American music is one of hidden treasures of classical music. Fiesta opens the vault sharing baroque and classical music that is as powerful and beautiful as what was coming from Europe at the time. We will share music from Bolivia, Brazil, and Mexico.
