8/10 Behind the Scenes at the Cliburn, Part I We’re backstage at the 2023 Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition and Festival. This outstanding group of young pianists from around the world includes Eddison Chen from Kansas City; Zihan Jin from China; Alyssa Gabrilovich from Philadelphia; Zhonghua Wei, Tiankun Ma and Yiran Zhou, all from China.

8/17 Behind the Scenes at the Cliburn, Part II More from 2023 Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition and Festival. You’ll hear performances by Seokyoung Hong from South Korea; Modan Oyama from Japan; Jan Schulmeister from Czechia; Yifan Wu from China; including some with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. We’ll meet the semi-finalists and winners of the competition.

8/24 Violinist Joshua Song explores the connection between powerlifting and music; bassoonist Eleanor Ha plays a stirring piece by Luboš Sluka; trombonist Edwin Osorio shows off the range of his instrument; flutist Madelyn Zoller performs on the new instrument purchased through her Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award; and composer Lili Masoudi presents their exciting work for an eclectic grouping of instruments!

8/31 50 Years of Walnut Hill The Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts is celebrating 50 years as an arts high school and sharing these talented teens: pianist Saehyun Kim; violinist Jiyu Oh; French hornist Yuxuan (Daniel) Ma; soprano Marley Matejka and composer Justinas Zlabys join with Guest Host Orli Shaham.
