9/1 Mexican Masters of the Twentieth Century Silvestre Revueltas, Carlos Chávez, and Manuel María Ponce each had a distinct vision of how Mexican musical life should sound, and each came up with a completely original solution. We'll hear examples written between 1937 and 1943, when each composer was at a very different stage in his life and musical development.
