Dale Allmond Breidenthal, violin

Born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in the West Adam/Crenshaw District, Dale Allmond Breidenthal is a violinist and private music instructor for the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (YOLA), the education program administered by the Los Angeles Philharmonic (LAPhil). She attended the University of Southern California where she studied violin performance with Eudice Shapiro and soon after graduating began playing regularly with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, winning a permanent position in1983 under the baton of Maestro Carlo Maria Giulini. Awarded the Dalzell chair for Artistic Service to the Community by the LAPhil, Breidenthal has also played for movie soundtracks including the Image Award winning "Hidden Figures" and "Da 5 Bloods."
