Conductor and teacher David Chin
Benjamin Chappell
Conductor and teacher David Chin

David Chin directs choral activities at Roberts Wesleyan College.  He's also a Rochester musician and conductor who’s passionate about Bach.

In a conversation with WXXI's Brenda Tremblay he recalls the day piano teacher Daisy De Luca Jaffe opened his eyes to a new way of playing Bach's music.

David Chin conducts a performance of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion (BWV 244) Saturday, March 25, at 7:00 p.m.at the Reformation Lutheran Church in Rochester.  Performing are Voices Chamber Choir and Orchestra, tenor Pablo Bustos as the Evangelist, and bass Cody Müller as Jesus.
