Music has been a part of life at Hampton University for more than 150 years. The Hampton University Concert Choir is made up of students who are not only gifted musicians, they are the stewards of a living history. Their voices honor the generations who came before them while they sing and tour together.

Hear their powerful performance that was recorded in concert at Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Rochester, New York as part of the Hampton University Concert Choir's tour earlier this year, in a special program from WXXI Classical, hosted by Teej Jenkins-Routier on Wednesday September 16th at 3pm on WXXI Classical.
