Believing that music has a unique ability to enhance lives, Classical 91.5’s mission is to make classical music accessible to everyone regardless of age, income, class or ethnicity. Classical music is an essential element in the cultural life of Rochester, and it is the mission of WXXI Classical 91.5 to reflect and highlight this musical life to the Rochester region and beyond.  Classical 91.5 encourages listeners to take an active role in the enjoyment and discovery of classical music, old and new, on a variety of platforms: on air with innovative presentation and performances, online and on-demand with content that is produced to the highest standards, and in community.
