The Baltimore Symphony cuts back its season due to financial struggles

This week the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra announced that it was cancelling all summer 2019 concerts and reducing their season from 52 to 40 weeks, due to financial struggles and funding proposals that haven't come to fruition. The announcement comes in the midst of contract talks with the musicians that have been going on since the fall.
