First Muse Chamber Music was started by Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra principal violist Melissa Matson in 2007. Their annual series of concerts brings together the artistry of the area's finest musicians in a wide variety of chamber music, striving to inspire a diverse audience with performances of repertoire ranging from the familiar to the fresh.

The Amenda Quartet was founded in Rochester, NY in 2010 by four friends who share a consuming passion for the extraordinary body of music composed for two violins, a viola and a cello.
