The idea of Beer Choir is simple. Sing while drinking beer. The physical and emotional benefits of singing are overwhelming. And Beer Choir offers a chance to appreciate the brewers who are, in fact, creative artists themselves. Beer Choir supports the local economy by focusing on microbreweries and craft beer. Its mission is to make the world a little bit better by singing and drinking together.
The next Flower City Beer Choir will be held on Wednesday, June 20th at Three Heads Brewing on Atlantic Avenue. Doors open at 6:00 pm, and a wide selection of Three Heads craft brews will be on tap. We’ll sing some fun songs from the Flower City Beer Choir “hymnal” led by Master of Ceremonies Dan McInerney and The Flower City Beer Band – Bill Dresnack, John Curry, and Brenda and Don Tremblay. We'll also watch clips from Brewed in New York and meet the series' hosts and producers. And don't forget to download and print our new, expanded Flower City Beer Choir Hymnal!
Brewed in New York hosts Matt Archambault and Maya Contreras chronicle the growth of the craft beer industry happening throughout New York State. In each episode they take viewers to a different tourism region of the state, learning about the brewer’s stories as they hunt for great beers. Three Heads Brewing is one of the featured breweries in the show, in addition to Genesee Brewery and Swiftwater Brewing Company.
