Much-loved German pianist and conductor Lars Vogt has died, aged 51.

On Monday, September 5, 2022, German pianist and conductor Lars Vogt died just shy of his 52nd birthday. Vogt had been diagnosed with cancer in early 2021, after doctors found tumours on his throat and liver. The New York Philharmonic presents this program in tribute to the great pianist.
