https://www.atlantamusicproject.org/

Founded in 2010, the Atlanta Music Project operates in under-resourced communities to provide world-class music training and performance opportunities that support youth growth and development.

6/4 Pianist Andrew Sijie Li performs Elliott Carter, pianist Christopher Tillen performs TBD, violinist Dániel Hodos performs Fritz Kreisler, composer Lili Masoudi presents TBD, flutist Erica Wang performs Gabriel Fauré

6/11 Where Are They Now? The annual “Where Are They Now” show features interviews with alumni and the fantastic music they’re making in their early professional careers. We meet a pianist who just released an album to raise money for the people of Flint, Michigan suffering from the contaminated water crisis, a winner of last year’s Queen Elizabeth Competition, and a baritone who just won his first Grammy.

6/18 From the Top commemorates Juneteenth with a special episode celebrating young Black classical musicians! Featuring special guest host Kevin Olusola, we meet outstanding young black musicians performing works by black composers, including music by William Grant Still, Sam Cooke, Florence Price, and a new work by a young composer. These excellent young players discuss what Juneteenth means to them and the black experience in classical music.

6/25 Peter Dugan hosts the Atlanta Music Project.
