7/2 We meet 15-year-old pianist Kiesse Nanor who plays Schumann’s famous love song, 18-year-old violist Natalie Brennecke who shares about her inspiring musical family, 17-year-old violinist Phillip Hammond presents amazing performance advice, and 17-year-old countertenor Sam Higgins sings a touching Handel aria. The Anderson & Roe Piano Duo guest host and perform Grieg’s In the Hall of the Mountain King.

7/9 Flutist Sasha Hitachi-Kizziah kicks off the program with a playful performance of Carmen Fantasie. We also meet marimba player Glenn Choe who’s a star member of one of the strongest marching bands in Texas, and pianist Victor Shlyakhtenko performs the music of Chopin. Finally, we travel to one of Boston’s great churches to hear organist Marshall Joos perform the music of J.S. Bach.

7/16 Violinist Tessa Lark joins Peter Dugan as co-host in this episode which features pianist Brandon Hwang performing a Scherzo by Frédéric Chopin; bassoonist Nathan Shepherd perform a Bassoon Sonata by Camille Saint-Saëns; oboist Spencer Rubin plays Bach’s Violin and Oboe Concerto with Tessa Lark; and violinist Bobby Boogyeom Park performs selections from Béla Bartók’s 44 Duos for Violins, and more.

7/23 It’s the annual “Where are They Now” show! We’ll catch up with two violinist alums who are now a part of the award winning Calidore String Quartet and an alum harpist who’s founded her own non-profit.

7/30 A late Beethoven piano sonata is performed by pianist Tyler Kim; we’ll hear from The Stars Aligned string quartet made up entirely of siblings; violinist Hannah Park performs Polonaise Brilliante by Henryk Wieniawski, and cellist Christy Choi shares a moving performance of Rachmaninoff.
