Violinist Anais Feller

Violinist Anais Feller, a student of Martin Beaver, has performed as soloist with orchestras in Tennessee and Texas, and has won several International Music Competitions. On 8/13 @ 5pm, we'll hear her perform some of the most fun music written for the violin.

8/6 Pianist Lindsey Yang performs the music of Shostakovich; cellist Angeline Kiang performs Schumann and shares her experience rehearsing with an artificially intelligent piano; violinist Kevin Miura performs Fritz Kreisler; oboist William Ju performs music by Robert Schumann and an encore performance by The Colburn School Honors Quartet.

8/13 Some of the most fun music written for violin is performed brilliantly by violinist Anais Feller; pianist Taige Wang performs a Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody; saxophonist Eduardo Rivera performs new music by Roberto Molinelle; oboist Elizabeth Perez-Hickman performs Incantation and Dance by William Grant Still; and Jeremy Davis joins host Alex Laing for a duet for marimba and clarinet by Derrick Spiva Jr.

8/20 Pianist Ukki Sachedina play J.S. Bach; violinist Ashley Tsai performs music by Auguste Ysaÿe; best friends Hwaseop Jeong and noah Jung perform a clarinet duo by Ponchielli; and flutist Nikka Gershman-Pepper performs music by Paul Wetzger.

8/27 This week we’ll hear works by two up-and-coming composers Ziyi Tao and Joseph Karz. We’ll also hear cellist Fiona Huang perform Shostakovich; violinist Iris Shepherd performs La Gitana by Fritz Kreisler; clarinetist Solomon Sigmon performs Hommage a Manuel de Falla by Béla Kovács.
