Born in Weimar, baritone Matthias Goerne is The Mary and James G. Wallach Artist-in-Residence at the New York Philharmonic for the 2018–19 season. He wraps his residency by performing John Adams’s “The Wound-Dresser,” with Jaap van Zweden leading the New York Philharmonic at David Geffen Hall. (7/28)
