The Search for the Fountain of Youth with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, February 2020

http://littlejohncontemporary.com/julie-heffernan

For thousands of years the legend has been told of the fountain of youth: a pool of water that restores one's youth. Explorer Ponce de Leon was said to have searched for it in what is now Florida. The legend is even recounted in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Composer Julia Wolfe explores the myth in a piece performed by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (2/11).
