Movies are filled with timeless stories of beautiful romance, vicious jealousy, and epic sword fights. Those sword-fighting heroes are the focus this month on The Score. Music will be included from movies like The Princess Bride, The Sea Haw, and Pirates of the Caribbean

4/11      Swashbucklers – Hollywood’s never-ending fascination with one-on-one “parry and thrust”, including music and moments from famous movie swashbucklers, including The Adventures of Robin Hood and The Sea Hawk to The Princess Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean, and a few more.

4/18      Gladiators, Amazons and Jedi – host Edmund Stone offers music and moments from movie interpretations of swordplay, including Gladiator, Conan The Barbarian, 300, Spartacus, Wonder Woman, Star Wars, and a few more.

4/25      Orchestrators – their work is amazing and yet they are hardly known.  Host Edmund Stone talks to three orchestrators who created Tutti Music Partners in Hollywood to support the composer’s vision, with examples from Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Green Book, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Personal History of David Copperfield, and a few more.
