Charles Ives took 16 years to complete the four movements of his New England Holiday Symphony, simply referred to as Holidays Symphony. It celebrated four holidays, one in each season of the year (Washington's Birthday, Decoration Day, July 4th and Thanksgiving/Forefather's Day). We'll hear it on the June 7th broadcast.
