It's another "Blanket Fort" show with young musicians recording their own performances remotely from their homes on the June 7th episode.

6/7        This week it’s the second of From the Top’s “Blanket Fort” show is an all remote, home studio program produced in response to the social distancing requirements during the Covid-19 pandemic.  It features our young musicians recording their interviews and musically collaborating remotely from their own homes.

6/14      From Calderwood Hall at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, guest host and innovative violinist Leila Josefowicz returns with some exciting chamber music collaborations, including 18-year-old flutist Mai Nguyen, 16-year-old violinist Jun Lin, 16-year-old clarinetist Anoush Pogossian and 18-year-old cellist Esther Yu from Rye, NY.

6/21      From La Jolla, California, renowned violinist and social justice advocate Vijay Gupta hosts with co-host Michelle Cann. They’ll introduce us to the incredible San Diego Youth Symphony Chamber Orchestra, a young cellist who shares how studying the cello has helped him stand up for what he believes in, and a pianist who was a prize winner in Russia’s famous Tchaikovsky Competition.

6/28      This week it’s From the Top’s annual “Where Are They Now” program featuring new music and new interviews with some of From the Top’s dynamic alumni.  We learn about the interesting places life has taken them since appearing on our program and hear fantastic music performances they’re capable of now that they’re professional artists carving their way through careers in music and beyond.
