3/7        Hosted by pianist Peter Dugan, this program features performances recently recorded across the country.  Clarinetist Kah’lin Jordan (17)  from  Hoover, Alabama performs Cantilene for Clarinet and Piano by Louis Cahuzac,  pianist Victor Shlyahtenko (19) from LA performs a Chopin Nocturne, violinist Glenn Choe (16) from Cedar Park Texas plays Bach and cellist Fiona Huang (13) performs Shostakovich.

3/14      This week the duo Michael Thurber and Tessa Lark guest host.  We’ll meet a teenage trumpet player who had to overcome major hardship in his home country of Macedonia to pursue music, an 11-year-old pianist who performs a piece by Chopin, and the award-winning Kalico Quartet who team up with the guest hosts for a high-energy finale. 

3/21      Peter Dugan and Vijay Gupta co-host this episode from The Wallis in Beverly Hills, California, featuring an exciting pianist Olivia Larco (10) and The Quantum Saxophone Quartet from Dallas, TX performing Memory from Nepomuk's Dances by Marcelo Zarvos.

3/28      From the Top presents a highlights program this week featuring some of the most exciting music performances and memorable interviews we’ve featured over the past couple of seasons.  We’ll meet teenage violinist Maria Sanderson who has grown up off the grid in rural Indiana, young pianist Helen Bryant from Georgia who performs a beautifully impressionistic work by Alexandre Tansman, and 12-year-old cellist Joshua Kovac who performs the music of David Popper and then solves a Rubik’s Cube, live, on-stage in under 19 seconds.
