The Gnarly Buttons of a clarinet inspire music and art, Symphonycast, May 2021

Gnarly Buttons button art

As a casual button crafter (I won't go so far as to call myself an artist), I was inspired by a piece by John Adams called Gnarly Buttons.  We'll hear clarinetist Michael Collins and the Minnesota Orchestra perform the work that inspired the art on the May 28th @ 8pm broadcast. ~ Ruth Phinney, WXXI Classical Program Director.
