The youngest conductor of a major U.S. orchestra, 32-year-old Teddy Abrams is doing something with the Louisville Orchestra, that few conductors are able to do. He's bringing new audiences - young and old - to the symphony.
Abrams, who is a conductor, composer, accomplished clarinetist and pianist believes in the power of music and creative collaborations to attract curious audiences to the music that has been a part of his life since the seven years that he was a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra.
CBS reporter Martha Teichner recently filed this story about Abrams for CBS Sunday Morning.
