The Rochester Broadway Theatre League just announced that one of their own has been selected as a Top Ten Finalistfor Playbill’s SEARCH FOR A STAR Contest. Mia Hall, from Eastridge High School, represented Rochester at the 2019 National High School Musical Theatre Awards after she won RBTL’s 21st Annual Stars of Tomorrow program in the "Leading Actress category. Mia is now in the running to take home the Playbill’s grand prize of a casting consultation with Stewart/Whitley, a one-on-one meeting with Tony Award winnerSusan Stroman.
After watching 2,658 video submissions from talent across the country, the judge’spanel for Playbill’s SEARCH FOR A STARcontest havechosen the Top 10 finalists, including Rochester’s Mia Hall.
