On Sunday, February 11, 2018, Asbury First United Methodist Church in downtown Rochester was the perfect venue for Voices Chamber Choir and Orchestra to present J.S. Bach's Mass in B-minor (BWV 232).  Completed just one year before his death, Bach's B-minor mass (1749) is a musical setting of the complete Ordinary of the Latin Mass.

Voices is a professional chamber chorus consisting of western New York’s finest ensemble singers. They have appeared in concerts and broadcasts, performing music from the Renaissance through the twenty-first century. City Newspaper described the ensemble’s sound as “a sonic cloudburst,” and noted that “Voices marks a new era of choral vitality in Rochester.”

Soloists appearing in this concert include:  Gileann Tan, Kelly Whitesell, Kyrsten Chambers Jones, Elizabeth Phillips, Pablo Willey-Bustos, Andrea McGaugh, Mark Hosseini, Robin Steitz, Hailey McAvoy, Rayvon Morre, Kevin Bryant and Kaleigh Sutula.
