Astor Piazzolla:  Cafe 1930, History of Tango

Guitar and violin are an elegant combination, heard from the drawing rooms of the classical era to the concert halls of today. This performance with the Red Creek Duo--violinist An-Chi Lin and guitarist Anton Machleder, was recorded during a Live Backstage Pass on February 24, 2017 with Julia Figueras.

Violinist An-Chi Lincomes from a family of musicians and began playing the piano at the age of five and the violin at age six.Lin has been a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra since 1997. Lin is currently on the violin faculty of the Roberts Wesleyan College, Hochstein School of Music, and Nazareth Community School.
