While the novel coronavirus has resulted in the cancellation of concerts and seasons, we'll bring some of the area's best live musical moments to you. Daniel Pinkham: Christmas Cantata (Sinfonia Sacra)
    Quem vidistis pastores
    O magnum mysterium
    Gloria in excelsis Deo

Pinkham's Sinfonia Sacra with its Latin Christmas text is scored for chorus and either double brass choir or organ. The final movement, Gloria In Excelsis Deo, is a monument of 20th century choral expression.

Conceived and founded in 2000, Concentusis devoted to exploring the wide variety of classical music, ranging from medieval chant through contemporary compositions, written specifically for women’s voices. Ensemble members are experienced singers who share a commitment to lifelong learning as musicians. Music Director and co-founder is Gwendolyn Gassler.

This concert is part of the Music At Incarnate Word events and was recorded live at The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word on December 4, 2016.
