Antara Winds explores the woodwind quintet from the 18th century to the present day, going from Franz Danzi’s Quintet in G Minor – one of the classics of the 18th Century repertoire – to Amanda Harberg’s Suite for Wind Quintet, composed in 2017. Both are virtuosic pieces and reflect the energy and lyricism of their times.
