Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra begins a second century of music-making Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre in this program. Music Director Andreas Delfs conducts Beethoven’s triumphant third symphony, Eroica. Cellist Alisa Weilerstein plays Elgar’s Cello Concerto. The concert begins with “Wild Sky” by Aaron Jay Kernis, a world premiere of a new work written to celebrate the RPO’s Centennial season.
