Prior to the airing of PBS' documentary Hamilton's America on WXXI TV, Friday, October 21 at 9 p.m., join host Robert Hammond and his guest Ralph Meranto, Artistic Director of the Jewish Community Center's CenterStage. They'll discuss the documentary and the historical aspects of the musical and why it's the hardest ticket to get on Broadway. Hamilton received a record-setting 16 Tony Award nominations, winning 11, including best musical. In addition, it was the recipient of the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
