Although many performing arts organizations had to close down their seasons and their concert halls, WQXR presents 7 concerts from the abbreviated ’19-’20 season and 6 archival concerts. Highlights include the Opening Night Gala with the Cleveland Orchestra and soloists Anne-Sophie Mutter, Yefim Bronfman and Lynn Harrell (who passed away April 2020), the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under Mariss Jansons, the Munich Philharmonic and the National Youth Orchestra of the USA with guest soloist mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard.
