"No vocal contest better targets today's total-package talents." - Opera News, August 2014

During the daytime round (11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), all contestants will perform four selections from the operatic, “Golden Age,” and contemporary music theater repertoires, including at least one number by Kurt Weill.  In the evening concert (8:00 p.m., doors open at 7:30 p.m.), each contestant will sing one selection from their daytime program.  The performances will be adjudicated by a star-studded jury that includes: Tony Award-winning actress and singer Victoria Clark; renowned opera and musical theater conductor James Holmes; and Broadway producer, author and Artistic Director of New York City Center Encores, Jack Viertel.  The awards presentation will immediately follow.  Both the daytime and evening rounds are free and open to the public.
