Kearstin Brown
Classical HostAmerican soprano Kearstin Piper Brown has delighted audiences in leading roles with major companies including The Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, The Atlanta Opera, Opera Colorado, Virginia Opera, Cape Town Opera, Opera Parallèle, Opera Memphis, Opera San José, and Finger Lakes Opera, among others.
An active concert artist, Ms. Brown has appeared with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, Residentie Orkest (The Hague), Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the American Spiritual Ensemble, and First Inversion. Her performances have been heard at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, La Folle Journée (Nantes), and Royal Festival Hall.
Ms. Brown serves in various capacities with the Gateways Music Festival, William Warfield Scholarship Fund, Hochstein School, and Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity, and is a former editorial staff member of Performance Today.
