Multi-genre recording artist and instrumentalist, Damien Sneed is a pianist, vocalist, organist, composer, conductor, arranger, producer, and arts educator whose work spans multiple genres.

The Gateways Music Festival returns to Carnegie Hall with conductor Anthony Parnther and mezzo-soprano J'Nai Bridges, premiering a setting of five spirituals composed by Damien Sneed.

The program includes Antonín Dvořák’s Eighth Symphony, William Levi Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony and the premiere of Reflections of Resilience: Five Spirituals, a commission by Damien Sneed, featuring Grammy-winning mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges.

This concert is simulcast is made possible in cooperation with WQXR-FM in New York City.
