The Stradivarius of Singers: A Tribute to Leontyne Price, 02/11/17

One of the most beloved singers of the 20th century, American soprano Leontyne Price rose to stardom at a time when African-American artists were only just beginning to achieve major recognition in the opera world.  Price, who turns 90 on Feb 10, 2017 is celebrated in this tribute to her life and career. The program includes comments and reminiscences from Renée Fleming, Sondra Radvanovsky, Denyce Graves and Eric Owens. (Click title for full listing of repertoire)
