With a focus on presenting familiar Western masterworks alongside new and traditional Chinese composers, maestro LÜ Jia and the NCPA Orchestra are sure to delight casual listeners and classical aficionados alike.

The Butterfly Lovers is a Chinese legend of a tragic love story of a pair of lovers, Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, whose names form the title of the story. We'll hear the violin concerto inspired by the story on April 25th at 8pm.
