Regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces of classical sacred music, Johann Sebastian Bach’s St. Matthew Passion sets chapters 26 and 27 of the Gospel of Matthew to music, and was first performed in 1727 on Good Friday at the St. Thomas Church in Leipzig. Friday, April 2nd at 8:00pm.
