WXXI is proud to offer you concerts from the current season of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, upon the approval of the RPO musicians. Broadcasts usually begin in May and run through mid-summer. The whole series repeats again until late fall. The live performances are captured by recording engineers Dave Sluberski or Bernd Gottinger and hosted and produced by Classical 91.5 morning host Brenda Tremblay.
Complementing the live performances, Classical 91.5 Music Director Julia Figueras interviews conductors and guest artists for the online interview On Record. Content from these interviews is incorporated into the radio broadcasts.
