Join the Vertex Saxophone Quartet for an eclectic program featuring music that moves and grooves!

You're invited to hear this music on Live from Hochstein on Wednesday, May 1st, at 12:10pm, in person at the Hochstein Performance Hall (50 N. Plymouth Avenue, downtown Rochester) or by listening to the live broadcast on WXXI Classical.

The Vertex Saxophone Quartet (Chisato Eda Marling, soprano saxophone; Barbara Brown, alto saxophone; Erik Piazza, tenor saxophone; Nancy Boone-Bahr, baritone saxophone) is a unique and versatile group of saxophonists who are active performers and educators in the Rochester, NY area. Founded in 2009, the Vertex Saxophone Quartet has performed in schools, churches, and formal concert locations and for special events in the greater Rochester area and is equally at home in the classical, jazz, and popular styles of music.

Live from Hochstein with host Mona Seghatoleslami is a series of midday concerts by some of the finest artists in our area broadcast live from The Hochstein Performance Hall. Each of these free concerts runs from 12:10-12:50 p.m., giving downtown business people, teachers, families, students, and friends an opportunity to enjoy classical music by outstanding musicians, including soloists, duos, and vocal and chamber ensembles.
